News Indoor Training every weds, all age groups 6-7pm. Outdoor will reconvene as soon as it is light enough.
14th February 2010 -
The Under 14's have the Quarter Finals of the NWC Development Cup. We will be away to Hindley who were the winners of the Hindley vs Rylands 1st round game. The KO is 10:30am, please be at DLS for 9:30 as the ground is at the far side of Wigan. St Peter's Pavillion Next Round (Semis) we will be away should we progress past Hindley to one of the following:- Leyland v Folly Lane. 23rd January 2010 - Under 14's were at home to Shevington Sharks for a joint training session and friendly match. The lads benefitted from playing alongside the experienced Shevy lads, and enjoyed the experience. 20th November 2009 - The Awards night was well attended, Widnes Vikings first team player Shane Grady and Community Manager Pat Clusky brought the Northern Rail Cup and the lads had their photo taken with it. Shane presented the awards to recognise players present & past. Thanks to the ladies for the catering! Breaking News:- The Club has received news this week that the CCIF fund and Radio City's Cash For Kids have made Grant contributions to the club for the purchase of playing kit. Under 10's News:-
- Under 10's players urgently required for NWC fixtures, please turn up at training to
"TRY IT". Boys and girls from school years 4 & 5 on 1st September 2009 can play at
this age group.
Under 12's News
- Boys from school years 6 & 7 on 1st September 2009 will be eligable for this team.
Please come along and "TRY" us out! This team plays in the NWC league and has weekly
fixtures.
Under 14's News
- Under 14's (Year 8 & 9 pupils) are fulfilling NWC fixtures from September 2009 to May 2010. The team is playing in NWC division 3 and opponents include Burtonwood Bulldogs, Portico Vine, Haydock Warriors, Rylands Tigers, Waterhead and Wigan St Cuthberts. Last update - 21st November 2009
